Who am I:

I’m a woman with a passion for people. I like to dream and I do my best to make my dreams a reality. I don’t let obstacles; doubts or fears hold me back from moving forward. I strive for optimism and I live by this quote, “even if you fall on your face you’re still moving forward.” -Victor Kiam

Where I’m from:

I was born and raised in Cali. I grew up in the L.A. area and later moved to Chino Hills where I attended high school. Lifelong friendships began there. But my best memories were made while running and training with my cross-country and track teams. This ignited the athletic mindset within me that has allowed me to push myself beyond my comfort level. I knocked two important runs off my bucket list, one was the Los Angeles Marathon (a whole 26.2 miles). Second, running across the Golden Gate Bridge for a half-marathon while I was just weeks pregnant was an epic experience for me! I received my B.A. in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton in 2003. Switching gears, I following my passion allowed me to pursue and complete my Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA.

I love seeing the results that come from chiropractic care and it is what I will continue to dedicate my life to.

Why Chiropractic:

In 2004, I came in contact with a chiropractor here in Encinitas, San Diego whom explained to me how “chiropractic” could help me with my headaches, and other health issues. Oh boy was he right! The only thing I regretted at that point was not getting adjusted earlier.  It took about 6 weeks of regular chiropractic care, for the chronic headaches that I had suffered from since the age of four- years old to lessen in frequency and then disappear.  I was not only sold; I was amazed! I had never felt more alive and aware of my health and body than I did after my adjustments.  As a walking testimony my purpose today is helping others discover that “health is not merely an absence of disease, it is the balance of mind, body, and soul(unknown).

What I do in my spare time:

Currently, I’m available in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  I serve my community and patients on these days by helping them to function better and be healthier.  When I’m not in the office,  you can find me running around with my kids, cooking, tending to the house and educating myself on how I can become a better healthcare provider for my patients.  I enjoy getting in at least a 30-minute workout 3-5 days a week, mostly because I feel so much stronger and better when I do.  I practice what I preach because I have the same 24-hours in a day that you do.  The truth is that the better I feel, the better I can be for my family and patients.

My husband and I usually enjoy our evenings and Sunday datenights together.  But, if I’m being completely honest most of our time is spent in the kitchen.  A few of my favorite things to do with my family is to go on long bike rides, hike, hangout at the beach, travel and find healthy delicious places to eat.  I mostly enjoy spending time with friends and family on the weekends.
